About the Author
My name is Colleen Joyce
Just like the mom in Mommy’s Love, I’m a CEO, a frequent traveler, and a mom trying to balance big ambitions with the people I love most. I’m the CEO of what I jokingly call my second favorite child, Lawyer.com, and for years I had another dream sitting quietly in the background: writing a children’s book.
Funny enough, the idea finally found me while I was traveling home from Los Angeles. Somewhere between the airport, the flight, and missing home, it clicked: I should write a story about a traveling mom.
Mommy’s Love grew from a feeling I know well—the challenge of being away from the people you love while wanting them to feel just how close they still are to your heart.
My hope is that this book gives both children and moms a little reassurance: distance may change where we are, but it never changes how deeply we love each other.
